The #1 Reason Why The Community Hates NBA 2K17

2K has always been more or less a love/hate relationship, but NBA 2K17 brings on a lot more hate than love. Every flaw that we've known in the 2K series since the beginning of time has grown exponentially more than the past games combined. We're not even talking about the actual gameplay yet, some people can't even get the game to load up! Scratched CD you might think? No bro, how can a digital download not even start up? Take a look at this picture

The worst part about "NBA 2K17 took too long to start" is that it has been present since 2K16! But hey, lets say by some sheer luck you do get past the Paul George freeze, you are then greeted by the NBA logo freeze. Now the NBA logo freeze is different. It won't tell you that it actually froze, you'll just sit there for minutes on end wondering whats taking so long. You'll try and try to restart and reload your game all to no avail. Which brings you to the last resort, clearing your reserve space.

Clearing Your Reserve Space

This is probably most absurd part of the whole getting the game to start process. After all those freezes, your friends tell you clear your reserve space. Clearing your reserve space is basically pulling out the white flag and surrendering to the fact that you literally have no other options. Once you've cleared your reserve space, you'll think everything is fine and dandy until you get to this screen

Oh you thought you was actually going to get a game in today? Hah! This screen on average takes around 10-20 minutes to actually get done loading whatever it has to load. Its completely baffling how 2K never addresses any of this. If you contact support, they'll tell you that it is your connection. Hell, patch 9 just came out, claiming to fix these issues and users STILL have the same exact problems.

The problem is that 2K doesn't care about us. You've got dudes out here going willy nilly on VC just giving 2K 30% of each check just so they can hit jumpshots in the park. The more money we give 2K the more complacent they become in their efforts to fix the game. Stop letting them off the hook!
